At Symmetry Pelvic Health, our mission is to provide high-quality specialized physical therapy utilizing a comprehensive approach to improve overall pelvic and physical well-being.
With over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist, and 15 of those years specializing in pelvic health, I am deeply passionate about serving a patient population that is often overlooked and undertreated. My commitment to providing the highest quality of specialized care is unwavering, utilizing hands-on, evidence-based treatments. I bring a wealth of experience, hard work, and dedication to ensure that every patient receives the care they deserve.
I hold both my undergraduate degree and Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University. In 2016, I achieved APTA Women's Health Board Certification, further solidifying my expertise in this field.

PFPT is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles form the base of the pelvis and, together with ligaments and connective tissue, provide support and play a critical role in bladder, bowel, and reproductive organ function.
At Symmetry Pelvic Health, our physical therapy sessions are conducted one-on-one with your therapist. During a typical session, you will receive manual therapy treatments such as trigger point release, soft tissue and visceral mobilization, therapeutic massage cupping, muscle energy techniques, and myofascial techniques. Additionally, we may utilize biofeedback training to improve pelvic floor relaxation and mindfulness, and teach you strategies for healthy bladder and bowel habits. You will also be provided with home exercises and strategies to manage your condition effectively.
In the state of Michigan, you do not need a prescription to initiate physical therapy. We are legally able to evaluate and begin treatment for 21 days or 10 treatments without a prescription. If continued therapy is required, a prescription would then be necessary.
At Symmetry Pelvic Health, we operate on a direct pay/cash pay basis and function as an out-of-network provider. This means that instead of handling your claim for you, we can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We also accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) payments.
The frequency and duration of therapy sessions depend on each patient's individual needs. During your initial evaluation, we will discuss your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan. Typically, a course of care may require 6-10 visits, depending on the severity of your condition. We also offer bundle treatment packages of 5 or 10 visits at a discounted rate, which can be discussed during your initial consultation.
Feel free to fill out the form with any questions and we will respond a soon as possible.
